Bulldozing Women: Kuhner Refutes 'Whore' Criticism Amid Widening Scandal
Said his comments were misunderstood in a Friday-morning screed.
Jeff Kuhner, “Boston’s bulldozer,” didn’t wait long during his Friday morning show before addressing previous criticism from listeners claiming he referred to the wife of Howie Carr as a “whore” on-air.
The original comments, made in the first hour of his show on Wednesday, followed a caller who defended Kuhner’s “integrity” for refusing to take “a lot more” than he otherwise would earn if he promoted more business partnerships.
“You, sir, have to go home to your wife and kids and say ‘I did the right thing,’” said the caller.
“I will tell you one thing about Jeff Kuhner, and this you can take to the bank,” he replied. “I don’t go to bed with a whore, and I don’t wake up with a whore. And for whatever reason, because I’m not willing to whore myself out or whore my show out, I’m public enemy number one.”

Listening to the full, unedited exchange, it’s obvious that Kuhner is proud of his show and its arms-length approach to advertising. It’s equally obvious that he despises others in media who conduct their business differently.
Who do you think he’s talking about?
On Thursday, we reported that Geoff Diehl has been indefinitely banned from WRKO after repeating lies about Howie Carr made on Kuhner’s program the day before. Later that night, Kuhner denied the claim that he was placed “under review” by station management for the original “whore” comment.
“This is a DISGUSTING SMEAR. 100% FALSE! Those pushing it are LIARS!” Kuhner posted on X.
Just 15 minutes into his Friday morning show, Kuhner backpedaled on the expletive, saying it wasn’t about the wife of a competitor, but rather the female chairwoman of the MassGOP, Amy Carnevale.

Kuhner chuckles to himself in the clip, but the truly laughable element is thinking his original quip was intended for anyone other than Howie and his wife.
The sexism was picked up by a payroll patriot of Diehl and Jim “Jones” Lyons, who later that day targeted a 19-year-old woman and candidate for Republican State Committee endorsed by Howie.
To paraphrase President Harry Truman, “If they stop telling lies about me, then I’ll stop telling the truth about them.”
Last night, Howie had on Taunton Mayor Shaunna O’Connell, another state committee candidate who has faced the wrath of the Kool-Aid Kult ever since Diehl, her onetime State House ally, began stumping for her opponent in last year’s election. Her interview was followed by a deluge of sane state committee candidates who called in and came to Carnevale’s defense.
We expect Kuhner’s latest excuse is only going to embolden Carnevale and her allies to speak up. TBD.
